Installation

  1. 1Download HarshalOzaToolkitAndLicense.msi using the button above.
  2. 2Close Siemens NX before running the installer.
  3. 3Run the installer and approve the Windows administrator prompt.
  4. 4Open the application from the Start menu. The Dashboard shows your Machine ID.

Activation

  1. 1Buy a licence for the Machine ID shown on the Dashboard.
  2. 2Copy the licence key you receive.
  3. 3Open the Activation page in the application.
  4. 4Paste the key into the licence key box and press Activate Licence.
  5. 5Open Backup & Restore and save a .key backup file somewhere safe.

Updates

How updating works

The application looks after its own updates. You do not need to come back to this page for them.

On start-up the application checks the official release channel for a newer version. If one is published it downloads the installer, verifies it against the SHA-256 hash published alongside the release, and only installs it if the hash matches.

Some releases are marked mandatory. When one is, the application applies it before continuing, so that everyone is running a build the licence server supports.

Updates are independent of your licence: updating never changes, shortens or revalidates it.

Verify what you downloaded

Each release publishes the installer's SHA-256 hash. If you want to check the file yourself before running it, open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run Get-FileHash HarshalOzaToolkitAndLicense.msi, then compare the result against the hash on the release page.
